We at Denamona Primary School have a primary responsibility for the care, welfare and safety of the children in our charge.  We will carry out this duty through our Pastoral Care and Child Protection Policy, which aims to provide a caring, supportive and safe environment.

Children will know and have their attention drawn to whom they can talk to if they are sad, worried or have any other concerns.

The designated teacher for Child Protection is Mrs Spence.  In her absence, Mrs Burke is responsible (deputy designated teacher for child protection).

Canon Woods is our Chair of Board of Governors. The Designated Governor for Child Protection is Mrs S McCarroll.
