P6/7 enjoyed their end-of-year trip as they visited McCarroll’s farm.
With a keen interest in farming in our class, everyone was very excited! Samantha, and Myra too, had a brilliant tour organised for us all. We saw a range of animals, helped with fencing, let the cows out to the field, saw the parlour, helped with washing, rolled in the hay and saw the hay being baled. All while the sun shone for us!
We finished our day by enjoying a lovely lunch at 9th Avenue.
A big thank you to Samantha for her fantastic hospitality. We were spoilt with treats and had the best fun!
