As we begin our Forest Schools journey, we welcomed Caoimhe and Dan to lead P1/2 in some very interesting and engaging activities!
Firstly, P1/2 worked brilliantly in teams to create a nest for a bird, choosing carefully where the nest should go and selecting appropriate materials.
Secondly, there was super excitement as we lit a fire and toasted marshmallows. We learnt how to stay safe around fire and the importance of putting the fire out when finished! The s’mores were a delicious treat!
We look forward to more exciting times in our Forest School area.
