Today, we had three teams from P5, P6 and P7 competing in the Omagh Primary Schools Tournament, successfully organised by Omagh Ladies Hockey Club. All three Denamona teams demonstrated fantastic teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout the day.
A special mention must go to one of our P5 teams who were playing competitive hockey for the very first time. Despite their lack of experience, they impressed everyone by scoring an incredible 14 goals during the group stages! They narrowly missed out on a place in the final after a hard-fought 1–0 semi-final defeat.
Of course, it wasn't all hockey—the children also enjoyed a fun lunchtime dance break! Every player represented our school with pride and showed tremendous potential.
